    Well in theory. It is less harmful, and more “effective” to society than actual cigarettes. but you see, then people would go for electronic cigarettes, rather than the real stuff. so yeah it DEFFINATELY will help you quit smoking the real, and harmful stuff. but you might then just divert to the electronic cigarettes. This still is a FAR better outcome than smoking harmful cigarettes. :-)

    A friend of mine bought one last week and I tried it myself. I don’t believe it can help you quit because you fill it with a liquid nicotine solution and it delivers it to your lungs when you inhale the vapors. It tastes roughly like a real cigarette and it definitely gives you the “feel” of smoking a real one (except no ash). My friend said he bought it cause it doesn’t emit the tars and particulate matter that science calls “second hand smoke” so it is supposed to be environmentally friendly.

    Well i know that there is that first person is hating but he/or she may not have bought the right type of cigarette. I know when i first started buying electronic cigarettes i had to go through four different brands to find the right one. i was a smoker for more years than you friend and i haven’t had a real cigarette in over 8 months. I tried GreenSmoke and vapor smoke and some others and the one that works best for me were blu cigs. These electric cigarettes have a blu tip and they are very reasonable. Try them if you like but that is my story.

    Electronic cigarettes could be designed to help someone quit. But so far, they are unstable and are banned in many countries. Tell your friend to go to this site. It helped me quit.

    They suck. They are nothing at all like smoking. It is not worth the money. They are expensive and leave you wanting a real cig.
