I have seen them in the mall, do they work?

I am very curious about these. In particular, are you allowed to use them on a train or airplane? I mean, if the train conductor saw me using an electronic cigarette, would they give me a high-five or kick me off the train?

I am trying to find an effective way to quit. I have looked into electronic cigarettes and wondering if it works to quit? If so, which ones are the best brand to go with?

I’ve been smoking since I was 15. I’ve tried (and failed) numerous times to quit- I’ve used the patch, gum, Welbutrin, cold turkey, tapering off, and substituting nicotine Free cigarettes… I’m not going to quit easily.
Recently on answers, a person had mentioned that they smoke electronic cigarettes. After looking into this, I was referred to http://www.myluci.com . Here, they offer a “tar-Free” and “stink-Free” and “smoke Free” cigarette… but the only startup kit that looks like it would be worth ordering is $200. While this is STILL cheaper than what I’m paying now for cigarettes, I kinda don’t want to drop that much cash on them if they won’t work for me.
Has anyone tried these, or any similar product to them? Do they taste like the real thing and does the “smoke flavored vapor” actually feel like smoke or is it significantly different?
Please don’t just answer with a suggestion to quit- you will not earn the 10 points with that even if it is the only answer I get.
